MY JOURNEY WITH AUTISM

I have always been fascinated by the intricate workings of the brain and its ever-intriguing effect on behavior. I was drawn towards autism while undertaking my MSc in Neuroscience at King’s College London, UK. It taught me to understand the neural basis of neurodevelopmental disorders and thus understand how children with autism think.
During my MEd in Autism (Children) at University of Birmingham, UK I learnt the international best practices on teaching children with autism.
I have worked extensively in this field of early intervention in India and the UK and have become proficient at applying theoretical knowledge to make a difference in a child’s life.

She has a PhD in 'Cognitive theories in autism' from St. John's Medical College Hospital. She has over 2 decades of experience teaching children with autism and as a teacher trainer for professionals working in the autism field. She has several research papers to her credit.
